Why can't they just leave KMSS, KSHV, WEVV and KPEJ out of this? Then the deal would for sure go through (unless the FCC wants to see WVLA/WGMB and KETK/KFXK broken up). It seems so simple.

KCNC throwing it back today: their #TBT today shows Alan Gionet and "The Big Switch" back in 1995. Meanwhile, KGWN has begun using the standard Gray graphics...somewhat; they're still using the QNI ripoffs for their opens. (click on "NewsChannel 5 at 5:30pm"; it's their weather segment)

KDRV actually leads that market, according to Wikipedia. KDRV is also the only station in the market that still has a sports department; KOBI and KTVL both got rid of theirs in '09.

They have J.C. Burns graphics and they even have Harry Schultz as a voice-over. I know that they had used 615's "The Rainmaker" at one point but this doesn't sound like that.
