A little late, but Scott Reiss has moved from San Francisco and joined KCTV in Kansas City as sports director. He had been a freelancer at KTVU and worked half the year on Stanford football/basketball.

WFLA is zone A, but it looked like they were staying put. Most Tampa stations stuck with network programming tonight, actually.
Down in Fort Myers, WINK-TV is zone A, and as I recall, it sits just above a creek or inlet.
WBBH-TV is considered zone C.

Yeah, I think reporters knew she had died earlier in the day. They were prepared, but rather unfortunate they had to be on the air for so long before the official announcement.

Put on all the news you want, but job candidates aren't magically appearing. Gray was trying to find people willing to work remotely to put news on at KVVU. I don't know if anyone took them up on their offer.
