It is easy to regain number one but NBC and Matt just don't want to let Matt go/leave. But why is Today so grieve stricken they are number 2. They was number for the 80's and the 90's until 1995. So it is good that someone for a while took that spot in my opinion.

Portia Young has left WISN after 10 years for a better opportunity. She was recently shifted to weekend mornings from weekday mornings. On her facebook page she says, " Many if you are wondering why I left, some of you know, for the others, I'll just say something better came along. I hope you have a safe, wonderful day. Cheers! "

Lisa Sylvester from CNN is leaving to become the 6 and 11 p.m. co-anchor on WPXI and 10 p.m. co-anchor on Pittsburgh Fox affiliate WPGH.

I wonder if they are going to have Anjanette Flowers return as the Morning Anchor again.Kellie Patterson is leaving WCNC for another, unannounced anchoring position. She joined WCNC in 2010. Also, WBTV has hired a new reporter, Pamela Escobar.

It looks like Chris is officially apart of the morning team and Dana is on her way out. I just wish CBS let Dana "retire" from the public eye instead of doing what WNBC did with Sue. Dana has been apart of NY for 23 years and deserves to bow out gracefully if that what they are doing.

Jennifer Lindgren signed off from WKYC in Cleveland to join KTVT CBS 11 News in Dallas, where she will be closer to her family and her fiance.

Local Affiliates are using the new ABC log too and at WPDE in the Myrtle Beach/ Florence market they are going with the gold version on most promos but haven't implemented on there news broadcast as of yet. (I'm sorry if I messed up the ABC 7 thread)

Jackie Hyland joins WRAL TV as the 5:30 and 10:00 p.m. anchor. WRAL is also revamping its newsroom set and redoing there graphics. Good luck to Jackie.

I thought I was going to miss The Early Show as well (even though I hated the last year. David Friedmen messed the show up) but I really enjoy it. I can see CBS keeping this team for a while since the ratings are up dramatically from 2 years ago even though it hasn't overtaking Today in the ratings.
