  1. Maybe Alabama PBS is trying to get satellite must-carry rights in the Columbus-Tupelo DMA, which includes Lamar County and Vernon.
  2. I wonder if The CW has to change its name.
  3. If it's still on the air, maybe they'll drop it at midnight.
  4. Isn't PIX11 owned by Mission Broadcasting? They shouldn't be affected.
  5. According to RabbitEars, the three Florence stations are already repeating WMBF.
  6. What's going to be their new name?
  7. You left out Washington DC (Fulton County is part of that market). Also, I don't think Charleston WV would be affected.
  8. We all know Forum can't legally buy KVRR, because it and WDAY/WDAZ are both Top 4 stations. I bet FOX programming gets moved to a WDAY/WDAZ subchannel, most likely 6.3/8.3 which is in HD.
  9. Is this a mandatory thing across all Sinclair stations? What will air in place of the newscasts?
  10. WADL still has that crappy signal, so MNT will lose some viewers in the western and southern fringes of the Detroit DMA. https://www.rabbitears.info/contour.php?appid=25076ff3710e9a2601711d33d46c30e9&site=1&dma=N&map=Y&contour=Y&int=N&pop=N&incpop=&excpop=&z1=N&nrqz=N&lprw=N&head=Y&asrn=&extras=2040150&cir=&circen=

  12. Fort Wayne and Terre Haute are different markets.
  13. The Paragould and Jackson LPTVs can't relay WMC because those markets already have NBC affiliates.
  14. They didn't even give a reason.
  15. Or just have a thread for all preemptions (planned or unplanned), be it for sports, weather or local programs, just like on the other forum.
  16. I think that's their translator in Akron. Their main signal is still on 10. And you're at the wrong thread anyway.
  17. In the article it mentions KPTH in Sioux City IA - that's FOX; CBS is KMEG, owned by Waitt Broadcasting and run by Sinclair. You think Sinclair might move CBS to a KPTH subchannel like it's done in other markets?
  18. It's happening in Cedar Rapids too, where FOX is moving from KFXA 28.1 to KGAN 2.2.
