KBTV Channel 9 in Denver 1980 news open with first segment dialogue 1980 News brief It features Ward Lucas and Linda Benzel (both are no longer with the station), Stormy Rottman with weather (died in 1991), and I have no clue who this sportcaster is. This was when Channel 9 in Denver was KBTV and an ABC affiliate. Now it's KUSA since 1984, and it is affiliated with the NBC Peacock.
