    Out & About

Veteran KOTV anchor Terry Hood is retiring after 32 years at the station. Her final newscast will be the 6pm show on Oct. 24th. https://www.newson6.com/story/41160502/terry-hood-to-retire-from-news-on-6-after-32-years
  3. Since TitanTV now has a schedule up for 9/9, here's Tulsa. Subject to change of course. KOTV: No change. ExtraExtra is likely staying at 1:35a after B&B. UPDATE 8/31: As expected, it will stay at 1:35a. KQCW: No change. Since KOTV launched its' 4pm news earlier this month, the hour block of Millionaire has been airing here at 1pm, replacing Paternity Court. Still not sure what is going to replace that, but Titan is listing that this stays on 9/9. UPDATE 8/31: True Crime Files will take over the 1pm slot. UPDATE 9/9: Protection Court at 4:30a, replacing Pawn Stars. Personal Injury Court at 1:30a, replacing Friends, which is moving to an hour on early Sundays at Midnight, replacing a block of black-ish. KTUL: Since earlier this month, channel 8 has burned off the cancelled Steve at 1:35a before WNN. In its' place at 3pm has been Funny You Should Ask (which the latter half of Steve has replaced) and an early repeat run of Jeopardy. Titan lists this lineup as staying put on 9/9. UPDATE 9/4: America Says starts 9/16 at 3pm, moving Funny You Should Ask back to 2:05a. UPDATE 9/9: Game Time with Boomer Esiason starts 9/14 at 2:35a. KJRH: As mentioned previously in this thread, Kelly Clarkson will replace Pickler & Ben at 3pm. UPDATE 8/31: Looks like the 1:05a Today 4th Hour repeat will be replaced with a repeat of Clarkson. UPDATE 9/4: 25 Words or Less starts 9/16 at 2pm, leaving RTM to just one weekday airing at 2:30p. KOKI: 1pm is listed as TBA, but I know from promos that Tamron Hall is going to 2pm. Titan still lists DMTV and PageSix TV at 2pm, but obviously that is changing. UPDATE 8/31: DMTV at 1pm, Xploration Station shows at 1:30p KMYT: Titan currently doesn't list the announced (and heavily promoted) changes I mentioned in the thread, Judge Jerry debuts at noon replacing Divorce Court. Mel Robbins at 4pm, replacing a second airing of Wilkos. UPDATE 8/31: Noticed a TBA at Midnight on 9/10, which could mean The Cleveland Show could be dropped, perhaps with the now-nightly Bob's Burgers? UPDATE 9/9: Yup, Bob's Burgers at Midnight.
  4. KMYT has Judge Jerry at noon starting 9/9, replacing Divorce Court. On Monday, the same day KOTV's hour-long 4pm news launches, Dr. Phil goes to Millionaire's 3pm slot. Titantv suggests that Millionaire will be burned off on sister station KQCW at 1pm starting Monday, replacing True Crime Files.
  5. Nancy O'Dell has left ET after 9 years. https://www.thewrap.com/nancy-odell-exits-as-co-host-of-entertainment-tonight/
  6. Mel is heading to KMYT at 4pm, replacing a second airing of Wilkos, which replaced Springer last season when he moved to the CW.
  7. Tamron Hall is coming to KOKI on 9/9 at 2pm, replacing Daily Mail TV and the cancelled PageSix TV. I can see them moving DMTV to 1pm to fill the soon-to-be vacant Face the Truth block. Not too sure about 1:30 though.

    Out & About

KTUL will finally get some competition at 4pm. According to a new station promo, on August 5th, KOTV will launch a new 4pm newscast. The move pushes Dr. Phil back to his original 3pm timeslot, replacing the ending Millionaire.
  9. Caught a bit of a station promo while flipping channels last night and ended up missing the date. I'll update the post when I catch it again.
  10. KOTV is moving Dr. Phil to 3pm (replacing Millionaire) next month to make way for a new 4pm newscast. IIRC, 3pm was Phil's original timeslot when it debuted in 2002, moving to 4pm after Oprah ended in 2011. Update - The changes take place on August 5th.
  11. Tamron Hall will be going to KOKI, likely replacing Face the Truth at 1pm. Now, that station's only other vacancy I can think of is PageSix TV at 2:30p.
  12. Our Big 4 stations will all have some vacancies to fill this fall. Outside of the Feud on KOKI, 3pm is gonna look a bit different. - KOTV loses Millionaire at 3p. - KJRH will likely put Kelly Clarkson at 3p to replace Pickler & Ben. - KTUL loses Steve at 3p. - KOKI loses both Face the Truth at 1p and Page Six TV at 2:30p. Still not sure where Tamron Hall is going to end up, I kinda think KTUL is the most likely choice.
  13. Just caught a public notice on KOKI regarding the deal. Anyone else in Cox markets seen one?

  23. Tulsa on 9/10 (Updated) KOKI has picked up 'Face the Truth' for an hour at 1pm, moving 'Dateline' to 11am, replacing CWD. 'Top 30' is finally coming to the market at the super convenient time of 3:30am, after 'Dish Nation' replacing a 'Page Six TV' repeat. With the CW (and KQCW) picking up Springer, KMYT is dropping Jerry in favor of an extra Wilkos at 4pm. Meaning 1p-5p will be double-runs of Maury and Wilkos. KQCW has 'Sins & Secrets' at 1pm, replacing an hour of 'Paternity Court'. Alongside the 3pm CW run, Springer gets a 2am repeat, replacing a block of Pawn Stars (which moves to 4:30am) and Judge Faith.
