If anyone has any newscast opens, promos, station ID's or commercials from the New Orleans or Baton Rouge market pre-2000, please email me at [email protected].

That's the problem right there. I had saved them as MPEG files. None of the clips run at or over 10 minutes, I would say they are less than 3 minutes long. I still have them somewhere on my computer. What format should I save them as?

I tried posting some of my stuff from WWL, WDSU and WYES on Youtube but I couldn't post it because the files were too large. It's not much, but it is from the late 80s, about 1987-88. All of these were leftovers from some tapes I had of "Doctor Who" taped off WYES. They include: A WWL 4 pm newsbreak with Bill Elder Ending of a Doctor Who episode with "Nature" promo and WYES sign-off from 1988 Commercial breaks with WDSU 10 pm news teases, and a short open If anyone knows how I can reduce the file size without losing some of the key parts of the material, please let me know. It would be great to see more New Orleans material on Youtube, there simply isn't enough of it.
