Hmm?
Oh, it was already posted in Graphics. Whatever.

Their story says he’s going somewhere with “very different weather,” which would seem to indicate a station in the Northeast.
Or Chicago. -

11pm on weekdays has not yet been added. They are probably waiting for Sade to return.
They haven't had an 11pm talent open in years.

I’d really like to know what the hell is up with Jamie Apody’s job status.

There were some rumors (nothing widespread) last month or so that Payton would be joining WPVI. -

I know this person wasn’t an on air talent but former KJRH Vice President and General Manager Amy Calvert has been hired by Sinclair as Vice President and GM of KOKH-TV in OKC hopefully she can help make the newscasts better for both KTUL and KOKH.
The only way they can make the newscasts better is by having each station serve their respective markets, not this consolidated nonsense.

WTTG used to use NewsEdge for some of their newscasts, and WOFL and WJBK (The Edge) currently use it. It's nothing new.

Maybe I'm too used to the old graphics but I'm not keen on this. I preferred the graphics cutting away with the city skyline at different times of the day. Not keen on the more upbeat music either.
It's the same theme as before, just using a cut of it. They were using only that specific cut in some of the previous intros anyway.

I believe they stopped using that radar in December of 2022. The last time I saw it on air was for a tornado warning on November 30, 2020. It stinks that they stopped because it was the only live radar in the area. The National Weather Service radars are slow and update about every five minutes.
3 and 10 used to have their own radars as well. 10's was located not far from 6's and 3's is/was at their transmitter site.

Lauren is always a good and common fill in.
Sidebar...Lauren like so much of the talent has been there at least 20 years!
What is it about Channel 7 compared to the other NYC stations that they've retained reporters in particular for so long? My first assumption is the pay.
It's a common theme with most of the ABC O&Os. They're stable and well-run.

Today is Nicole Livas' last day at WVEC, she's going to be working in communications for the Virginia Beach public schools.
-
It was posted in the main New York News subforum.
-
Cydney Long left NBC10 last week to spend more time with family.
-
WVEC chief met Jeff Lawson is retiring on November 15th. Edit: and I didn't notice at first, Tim Pandajis is returning to WVEC to become chief met.

Isn't that Fox 29's weather branding?
IIRC, WNYW used that branding back in the early 2000s. And used it for a while.
Yes, it is, minus the "Your."

Oh, never mind.

Well this is odd, he is back, yet his bio is still gone.
He had COVID and was out for 2 weeks.

Jeff Skversky has left after only a year according to another site.

It's about consistency that why ABC O&O WTVD is number #1. Because if that we use tools like the data tracker, the crime spoter, and talk and focus on issues like crime in Downtown Raleigh and Durham. We also split coverage between the 2 areas unlike the competition. It's about listening, and going in-depth and that what maybe sister-station, KTRK is missing there still ratings leader of course Houston’s Best Station imo but while yes KPRC is giving them and run for their money, they are trying. I think the group-wide package might be a dumpster fire if there is no input.
WRAL is the dominant #1 in the Triangle, WTVD is a strong #2.
As for Houston, KPRC, KTRK and I think the Univision station are the major players.

He will also be there tomorrow.

The Patreon story doesn't really have much in the way of details, but there is this:
"Longtime employees at KYW say morale and abuse at the station are at its worst in decades."

ID is now airing new episodes of Forensic Files II instead of HLN.
