  1. Passed away February 19th at age 71. http://ktla.com/2016/02/29/charlie-tuna-beloved-l-a-area-disc-jockey-dies-at-71-spokesperson/
  2. I kind of wish Kaity and Brenda was on at 6 for the full hour. A half hour is not enough.
  3. UPDATE: WUSA now has the added color scheme to their L3s
  4. http://forums.tvnewstalk.net/index.php?threads/the-sinclair-ization-thread.14525/page-10#post-136874
  5. I remember they did this last year. Those were the days.
  6. TexasTVNews, you are correct. According to WTOP, Jim Handly will take over the 11PM and will still do the 5PM News. http://wtop.com/local/2015/04/vance-staying-with-nbc-washington-but-wont-co-anchor-11-p-m-news/
  7. It's entirely up to each station to keep the L3 onscreen or have it disappear.
  8. If he does, i nominate Craig Allen as G's replacement.
  9. I am starting to watch PIX 11 more and more. Tamsen and John are a good team and it is really showing.
  10. KTNV does have a 3pm newscast. It was originally a 3:30 newscast, but after KSNV added a 3pm news, KTNV expanded to a hour.
  11. Shame. But anyway, I remember watching the very first (new) CBS This Morning with Charlie, Gayle and Erica (Hill). While I liked Erica, Norah and Charlie are the reasons I watch every morning because they have such great chemistry together when they are on the air. They know how to ask the tough questions, and have a little fun every now an then. A good mix. I say in the next couple of years, CTM will be a strong contender to possibly overtake The Today Show for second place.
  12. That's why they are such a great team.
  13. And it appears that soon they will be the WKRC graphics.
  14. The start date is September 16th.
  15. Because that is controlling the teleprompter. Fox O&Os have been doing this for months as a cost cutting move. The story is right here: http://www.tvweek.com/news/2009/12/stations_shift_to_talent-run_t.php
  16. After 15 years at KPIX and 25 years on television, Dana King is leaving to pursue an art career. http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2012/12/05/dana-king-announces-departure-from-cbs-5/
  17. It's probably going to be permanent.
  18. No. They are actually KWQC-HD News.
