After a long day of moving things around, I'm with another awesome friend. And I'm doing breakfast for dinner.... Sorely needed. :-)

A weekend in LA seeing some awesome people? Sure! Would love to do that!!!

Dont ever underestimate the power you have upon the souls that you care about so deeply on this planet. When they need you for some reason or another, you are always there. In the most caring, and loving way possible. In turn, you get the greatest reward that one could ask for in their life. Friends, companionship, soulmates, brothers, sisters. The people that give you such unconditional love and peace to your soul on this at times harsh planet. :-)

I don't know why, but I'm more ecstatic over the ban on Same Sex marriage being struck down today in Oregon. More so than when Prop 8 was struck down here in California. Just quite content and happy right now. :-) #oregonpride

Guess the vote of the people regarding the Same Sex Marriage ban slated for this fall isn't needed now. :-)

Small fire just hit at the top of the canyon at the end of the Culdasac at Gaylord Ct here in the housing complex i live in. Neighbors as a collective got hoses down the side of the canyon, only about 20-30 feet to put it out. Most of the fire was out as SDFD arrived. They proceeded to put foam on it. Completely out now thank goodness..

Reports of fire #8 for the day starting in Scripps Ranch/San Diego. For Avgeeks, its important to note SoCal TRACON is about 2-4 miles west of this reported fire.

C90 Fire Update 2232Z: National Program and Ground Stops have been lifted. Things are still slow going but getting there. A report that i have says 400 cancellations have occurred due to this incident so far.

C90 Fire Update 1955Z: National Program has been instituted for ORD, valid until 0300Z. C90 airports still under a ground stop until 2130Z/2200Z depending on the aerodrome. Diversions still trickling into ORD, decent arrival push is happening as of the time of this posting. UPDATE 2000Z: Aircraft are starting to be released. 20 miles in trail spacing to C90 UFN.

C90 fire update 1805Z: Fire supposedly was in the equipment room. Ground stop has been extended til 1900Z. Up to 50 planes are in line to depart ORD currently, dont have numbers for MDW. Planes are starting to come out of holds and land at ORD thanks to ZAU control taking over C90 ops. Looking at the tracks 100 mile finals are the norm from the east. C90 controllers are heading to ZAU to help bring traffic in. I'm hearing an AAR of 22/hr will be happening once everything is set up at ZAU.

Usually here at this time of day heading off on an adventure... Not so this time. A pick up instead.

UPDATE 2338Z: Most everything is back to normal within ZLA. I've heard a fiber line connecting to the facility up in Palmdale. Major delays still exist to push aircraft off their gates at LAX. If you wanna hear that, head over to LiveATC and their ground feed for LAX. Flow times are in effect to Las Vegas from SoCal.
