IMO, Tegna needs to replace Twist with either TCN (The Country Network) or Heartland (FKA TNN). Or by the time Twist signs off, Tenga stations can run rebroadcast of local news and lifestyle shows on their diginet 24/7.
Again, it's just my opinion.

Condolences go out to his wife, his two daughters, and to his extended family at KOMO ABC 4. RIP Steve and Godspeed. Say hello to Kathi Geortzen from all of us here.

Is Adell high on drugs or what?! First, he wants his station to carry the CW, then weeks later he decides not to carry the CW. What the hell is going on over at Adell Broadcasting and WADL 38?

It's always been 5-7am, 5-9am, and 5-10am on most stations across the country.

In my neck of the woods, ET has been with WFAA 8 ever since. It aired after The Update at 10pm, then it moved to 11:05pm after Nightline, and finally moved to its cuttent time slot 6:30pm in 2005 after WOF left 8 and moved to CBS 11 (KTVT).

Looks like WKBD is about to return to the News scene, and their newscasts will be produced by WWJ.
Question is, will their newscasts be called BA News Detroit or will it be called WKBD News, powered or streaming on CBS News Detroit??
Will 'KBD go against 'JBK and 'MYD in the 10pm news race? That's if their 10pm news returns to TV50.

Ah cool. WDSU was the last time I saw him so didn't know he moved.
Let's not forget Lonnie Quinn was a soap opera actor on All My Children before he went on to be a weathercaster at WTVJ and currently CBS 2 (WCBS) New York.

Just as I expected. The best move for CBS would be to sell WUPA.
Yeah, to Nexstar.

Interesting…he did say he was moving to NY, and he’d be a great pick up for WABC.
I hope he is, but is he going to be Bill Ritter's successor?

So options are limited, I mean Byron could buy all of Tegna with very minor conflicts.
I second that.

Important note, Deegan made history as the first woman to be elected as mayor of Jacksonville, which had been the most populous U.S. city with a Republican mayor (a status that will be assumed by Fort Worth and its mayor, Mattie Parker, once Deegan is inaugurated).
Considering her husband, Tim, is still chief meteorologist at WTLV/WJXX, what will Donna's election mean for his status with First Coast News? He did cede his slot on the 11:00 p.m. newscast last June, which Lew Turner (who had been FCN's weekend morning meteorologist beforehand) was assigned to as Deegan chose to reduce his workload to the early evening newscasts.
Let's not forget another former Jacksonville news anchor whose also been elected to public office. Former WJKS/WJXT Joyce Morgan been elected Duval County property appraiser.

KTVK's news director at the time was Cecil Tuck, brother of Michael Tuck of San Diego fame and Gene Tuck from KTVI and KSAT.
You left out Beaumont's KJAC and KBMT, that's where Gene Tuck used to another back then.

I hope it replaces The Talk; I hated that show ever since. I had a vision of what the lineup would look like.
10AM (ET) - LMAD
11AM (ET) - The Price is Right
12PM - Local News
12:30PM - Y&R
1:30PM - B&B
2PM - The Gates
In case you forgotten, CBS pulled the plug on two legendary soaps (GL & AWTW) in '09 and '10. And for game show fans like me,
in case you might remember CBS did a pilot for ($1,000,000) Pyramid in '09, but it was passed up... twice!
