The newscast intro for CBS News Miami captured at 4pm on their streaming channel. This is the first station to use the full CBS intro, and not just shorten it. CBSNM.mp4 For the 5pm Newscast, which airs both streaming and linear, they used a very short intro after the headlines teaser.

Nice!!! I think KDKA might be next. By early next month the latest. They might be trying to hold onto that KDKA-TV News name but I think I they know they’ve already lost that battle.

Having that WANF-esque font in the WCSC logo under the classic "5" would make for quite a nice logo.

Staggered launch..not sure why Gray did it this way, but looks promising. I haven't been a fan of the logo in a LONG time. Wish they would have brought this one back.

I am hoping that WJZ doesn’t mess this up. They have deviated from most packages with their own music, which I do not like in the least.

Two R&Os. One, Virginia PBS outlet getting out of the "VHF-low" hellhole. The other, this Tegna station wants out of VHF, period. WBRA (3 > 13) WVEC (11 > 35)

CBS News Miami is next. They've just launched their new graphics package at noon Wednesday. As for the logo, as you can tell, they kept the channel number as part of the rebrand maybe because the logo is iconic. Oh wait, what's this? They got rid of the wave from the previous logo. Maybe because they wanted to keep it as minimalistic as possible? Well, it seems like that was on purpose. Or if it was by accident, they can always add it later.

If you had just the 11 in the box, that would be a pretty good interim news logo, IMO. The two eyes are overkill.

The Jazz are not in their circulation area. The Rockies are, but with Altitude still blanked out from Comcast after several years... I don't think a team would want to enter that scenario.

Which essentially resets (outside of Comcast) the channel's original ownership group, funnily enough. Unlike when the channel started though, the Astros are in a much better financial (and competitive) position here, and you don't need to bang a trash can to know that.

That is, quite honestly, a very good idea. It's well known that the only thing many people still turn to linear TV for is live sports. If I was running an independent station, I'd most definitely be looking into some local sports rights...if the price is right.

I agree - there’s a reason WSAZ hasn’t changed their Microgramma logo in decades. It’s timeless.

I wish they’d change that logo, but those graphics look like they’ll fit the station well.

Put baseball back on local broadcast stations again & add a streaming partner. Broadcast worked for years before the RSN's, it can work again.
