  1. 1,000 people are watching it. I think Perry is in denial. The digital team at NN kills it. They have a a lot of app downloads and a ton of traffic on their website. They believe it was from the cable channel touting these tools because they are so focused in on “tv”. In reality they just got lucky in the SEO world and no one is giving the digital team credit. When you go to the App Store and type in News … well, NN pops up because their name is… News. The Sr Management just think the ratings is incorrect because how could their digital being doing so well but tv not doing so well… welcome to 2021. Same reason NewsBreak has so many downloads and makes good money in the programmatic space yet they are only an aggregator.

  3. Shirleen Allicott posted earlier today that she decided to finally get vaccinated. She had to be extremely careful because she's due to give birth any day now, but got the OK from her doctor to do so. We are far from out of the woods. COVID is still a real thing and I'm glad WABC is continuing to take precautions to remain safe. In no way am I knocking any other station, but I hope nobody was premature in easing social distancing and precautions

  4. Yes. Because that's exactly what people want. A minimart version of CNN Cablenews is in the gutter for a reason so I have low expectations for CNN+. What am I going to get for a fee that I'm not gonna get for free (ie. Newsy, BBC, Sky, France24, etc)

  8. Why are we talking about this? The head of CBS News is stepping down, not Norah O'Donnell. There's no indication Norah is going anywhere. Is it a possibility? Sure. But it's not a guarantee. Whoever takes over the news department will certainly want to make changes, but I'm inclined to think CBS won't want to make another anchor change so soon after the last one.
