  5. Inside the Control Room: How NBC Will Cover the Tokyo Olympics 1,700 hours of Olympics programming on the air will come out of a 50,000 square foot nerve center of NBC’s Olympics coverage. And nearly 3,000 people between the U.S. and Japan will bring the games to your TV. https://www.nbcdfw.com/lx/inside-the-control-room-how-nbc-will-cover-the-tokyo-olympics/2686334/

  6. If they had opened the show at the desk, they would have flashed them in the desk's built in monitor. Same thing really.

  8. NewsNation seems to be at a loss for what to do with their graphics. Just 4 weeks ago on June 21st, they moved away from their initial dark blue and white look and switched to a light blue and white look, including a new bug. June 20th: June 21st: Now today on July 19th with the new programming revamp, they've switched to a mostly white look with dark blue text and red accents, while keeping the same bug. 10. My thoughts are I can't see ABC O&Os dumping their Wheel/Jeopardy hour just to do 7pm news. It's been a staple since 1990 and it's worked tremedously for the ABC O&Os, CBS has no issues letting the ABC O&Os air the shows they distribute since CBS Media Ventures/Television Distribution inherited it from KingWorld why fix a good thing? I don't believe the ABC O&Os feels or should feel any pressure at all from their competitors to compete for local news at 7pm, plus it'd be awkward to see for example Jeopardy on at 3:30 on WPVI in order to facilitate Action News at 7pm.

  11. I'm so glad these graphics made it to WCAU. They look so great and compliment the packages at the other O&Os very well.

  12. I wouldn't count them out. Still have WRC, WVIT, KNSD left to switch as well. WTVJ and WVIT we know will have new sets with the debut.

  13. It just looks so....off. Especially how the top of the "5" overlaps the circle. Is Morgantown still part of the Pittsburgh market? I'm sure that's an area the Clarksburg/Fairmont/Weston stations want to themselves.

  15. PLEASE let this be an alternate music option for the Scripps stations. I don't dislike the theme music they're using now but this is too good to only be for that news channel. It sounds like an extremely reworked and improved Guardian.

  16. *sighs* I knew it. WTVJ and I assume WSCV will be the last NBC and Telemundo O&O station to receive the new graphics.
