Forgive me if I'm mistaken but I think this is actually a derivative (or the same, not sure) of the Enforcer cut that WCCO uses. The whole version usually plays during the close of WCCO newscasts (I think). So I don't think this is new. As far as the new Enforcer cuts, I think KCNC is the only station to use it regularly (and I'm honestly not a fan --- it's so...dark. And oddly foreboding.)2 points
