  1. Just two years after Terry Hood joined the station and now about two weeks from her departure...coincidence? I THINK yeah, completely, but still. Simple observation.

  2. After almost 4 years, WOIO may be finally retiring the Raycom graphics package and the "19" is getting a major change. As seen during the 4pm newscast, here it is:

  4. That sweet Medicare Part D ad money from Humana and the like is too irresistible to refuse. It's free money until December, why not take it?

  5. As CUBS fan for 40 years, It's too bad Marquee could not simulcast 40 games with WGN TV. Somewhere JACK, ARNIE, and HARRY are turning over in their graves. Of course out of state CUBS fans have been without WGN for 6 years. Sad .

  6. I just went to their website tonight. Just randomly, kind of. I do have lots of extended family out there, so as soon as I find the link to their newscast, I'll need to catch up. Overall, I really like the new "19" logo, and I like even more that there's no longer two different "19"s in two different fonts. That was always a bit triggering.

  7. If there's one thing Gray doesn't do, it's standardization. Though, I wouldn't mind if this package spread to other stations in the group.

  10. Is that the VO from Inside Edition? If so, then kudos to Gray.

  11. The Toyota Camry ad in there is voiced by Chris Clausen! A bit curious, and I note some of the video in here is violent (in fact, KGMB anchor Dave Carlin justifies their decision to show it in the first clip!). Honolulu TV stations cover a circus accident involving an elephant in 1994.
