  3. Seriously??? What on earth can be wrong with the national anthem? This is America... Love it...or leave it. Enjoy Labor day...and lets all pray for those in the path of Dorian. (insert pic of big ass American flag with patriot loving shark)

  4. I applaud their efforts to do something different and create a local show that’s not sports or politics-related. Since it’s not a news program (per say), I’m sure they aren’t looking to ‘dethrone’ anyone. At best, get about the same (or better) #s than whatever airs currently at 10. Seems like an achievable enough goal. If it doesn’t work, then so be it. Better to have tried something new than nothing at all.

  5. How about I'm an atheist because of my objectivity. Also, having the national anthem play every night is trending toward state-controlled media and nationalism. I'm definitely against that.

  6. We've seen this type of thing done at other stations, a comedian's daily take on the news. I scoff at those, as those personalities are serving as 'formal' anchors on existing newscasts. No one has referred to this is a newscast, and it's not replacing a current newscast. That makes a difference, to me.

  7. Yes! I've always considered her a very solid journalist - even in her days at WTVG. ABC did a very good job utilizing WTVG as a place to groom top-tier talent. (Bloomquist, Rob Powers, Jason Knowles, Jeff Blanzy, etc.)

  11. Since Entertainment Studios is a content partner, you'll probably see episodes of The American Athlete and Cars.TV repeated ad nauseum instead of World Poker Tour and Destination Polaris.
