  1. I don't know if Sinclair even tries to syndicate Sharyl's show. It's not like it's something useful, like Ring of Honor, which has lucked out in a few markets where Sinclair has no on-air presence. I'm sure there are netlet stations out there that are just DYING to have such a hard-hitting show of investigative journalism At least Weigel carries Greta's new show. And as for Soledad's show? It's actually halfway decent. The free market doing it's thing as good shows are picked up by willing stations....

  2. One question on Sinclair's show Full Measure with Sharyl Atkinson. It is on practically no non-Sinclair stations, yet Soledad O'Brien and Greta Van Susteren have been able to get good coverage outside their companies. Does the toxic nature of Sinclair extend down to sales offices?

  3. KTLA Morning News weather man Henry DiCarlo is off the air for a few weeks to undergo surgery after being diagnosed with Prostate Cancer last month. Sending him prayers and good vibes. He's a bright spot every morning.

  5. I agree with both AMC and OLTL coming back as half hour soaps, instead of full hour soaps. Less is more. Soaps having such rich histories and legacies associated with them. I could see CBS mulling over reviving 1 or 2 of its canceled soaps, shortened to half hour broadcasts, if Let's Make A Deal or The Talk was to get axed. As the World Turns, much like OLTL, was getting better near the end of its run. Guiding Light may have been in trouble in its last years. Or I could see Capitol being revived, even though it's been gone since 1987.

  6. Personally I was hoping for a rename to GMA3: Return of the Jedi. We also would've accepted GMA3: G With a Vengeance.

  8. Horrific story out of Atlanta and New York. A WNBC intern, Erin Edwards, who worked with the digital team this summer killed in a murder suicide, her mother shot her and her brother before turning the gun on herself. My condolences to her family, fellow students and employees at WNBC. https://www.nbcnewyork.com/on-air/as-seen-on/Remembering-WNBC-Intern-Erin-Edwards_New-York-557935862.html
