  1. GMA is FINALLY doing something they haven’t done in nearly a decade, and something that the morning shows used to do quite a bit - taking the show on the road. This summer they’ll broadcast “pop-up” shows from cities selected by viewers. They kicked off today with a pretty good show in Philadelphia. This is the first time I can recall GMA doing this with an entire set constructed to travel like Today has done before.

  2. Let's all understand something about TV... When you go on the air and trash your employer, it's policies or practices ...EXPECT a bad outcome. You may not agree, but they sign your paycheck. If viewers want to revolt that's fine. But, don't expect some judge to entertain a wrongful termination suit based on publicly trashing your employer, while on their dime, and using their toys. And you wonder why stations won't let most on-air employees say "good bye" when the contract ends? I wish him luck...but if you come on my TV station and trash my station or programs you can expect to see the door...and maybe a boot up your ass. ...and once you pull some stunt like that , the station management of other stations won't trust you on-air...no matter how popular you were at you last gig.

  5. Calm down there. David is working Stefan’s shifts while he is out on paternity leave. Jummy is filling in for Natalie this week and Stacey was on her normal shift. When Natalie goes on leave later this fall Stacey will once again fill in for Natalie at 4, 6 & 11 pm in addition to 5 pm duties. Likely a rotation of fill in anchors will co-anchor with David at 11 am while Stacey is on evening duties.

  11. At the time WABC may not have been feeding CNN or uplinking the feeds yet to ABC News One. We’re they taking a simulcast or just footage? ABC and CBS subscribe to CNN NewSource so they can take anything they want that isn’t embargoed - even if it’s a competitor station. Say KGO has footage from a car chase from KABC but KCBS has a better angle/PQ they can take that.
