What's on tonight's KTLA News at Ten in 1988?

I can strip that thing quicker than they can report it stolen...or find it on GPS. Question for you RKO... Can you check that site where you found the data on th LA radars they installed? I want to know if you can see info on the planned San Diego radar site. Thanks!
I’m going to pull an @Eat News and wonder why the Storm Buggy isn’t in the Bay Area? One thing the promoted the hell out of in Los Angeles (atleast) was their ability to track smoke clouds. Well there’s been raging wildfires up there and no Buggy. They don’t have to put it in danger as that thing has a range of 90 miles.
Don't quote me on this, but I believe the Storm Ranger was in LA this week during the Anaheim Hills fire.

If you want to check out the website you head on over to FCC License Search page. You scroll down and under service group you check under the second option for “Match only the following radio service(s):” and select “RS - Land Mobile Radiolocation.” Under licensee name you either enter NBC Universal, NBC Telemundo License, Telemundo of Puerto Rico or Station Venture Operations. The latter has results for KXAS’ radars.

LOL. Sad as it may be, so many people still don’t realize that PR is a part of the U.S. even if it’s not geographically connected. Hawaii too

Here's a WKBW promo with Paul Turner, around the time Granite was beginning to ruin the station's legacy.

FINALLY! I've only seen that logo once before — a one-second billboard shot in KCNC's The Big Switch special. (No, seriously!) It was ditched when KNXV became the full ABC affiliate just months later. Apparently the GMA promo is not alluding to KTVK airing GMA out of pattern. For whatever reason, KNXV began airing the show on an hour delay when it was picked up in late August and was only able to clear it in pattern by the time this aired.

It seems simple, if you don’t have cable or don’t have an Internet TV subscription. I’ll rather go watch cable news if I wanted national news, not from a local news station that wouldn’t get everything.

Ah, that makes sense! I thought it was the generic title of all their weekend newscasts.

ABC's Weekend Report was the 15-minute late night newscast offered by the network at that time. It was axed in the early 1990s, but I don't remember very well when.
