Continuing ewjxn excellent series of Phoenix clips, here's a 1994 KSAZ promo (just after the station switched from CBS to Fox, but with no Fox branding in evidence -- also note the just-launched 9 p.m. Arizona Prime, later renamed Arizona Prime News, seen briefly in the promo):

I love it...:"Forced"??? Who was forced to run Pro Trump programming? The writer gets an "F" for failing to show any example of someone being forced to run a program. Did they tie up the master control op and hold a gun to his head??? The whole article is a bit OTT...send in Godzilla....such drama. How about they just change the channel?

There's a good reason there's no Fox branding in that promo — this was during their three-month gap between network affiliations. EDIT: He had the date wrong. It's from March of 1995. So that concern is there. Later in '95 they dropped the "Channel" and became simply 10 News, but with the same graphics.

They've been airing the 11am news repeat at noon on 7.2 since WCL moved from 11am to 1pm. EDIT: TTYTT, I used to love 7.2 before they added Live Well. When they didn't air alot of ads at the time (late '08-early '09), during the breaks on the news repeats, they would air the classic "People Make A Difference" promos with the 10pm anchors, and later replaced with the "Your News, Your Way" promos.

I also have a KJCT newscast from that same date. It's coming soon. For all interested, I've "fixed" the settings for the first set of videos available - those who understand will know what I mean... Jim
