  1. It seems that Stephany Fisher's (longtime WGCL anchor who unceremoniously got the boot this past summer) six-month hiatus will soon be over, and it won't be long before WAGA makes it absolutely, positively, 100% official. Fisher is of course expected to join Tom Haynes for News Edge, but Fox 5 will have to make a couple sacrifices. Kaitlyn Pratt could be promoted from Good Day Atlanta to general assignment reporter, with Lisa Rayam in her place. Rayam will still do noon, but should relinquish her 6:00 spot (alongside Russ Spencer) to Stephany. But since WXIA is without a lead male anchor after DeMarco Morgan left for CBS News, Fox 5 may send Ron Gant packing, meaning he'll have wait six months before joining Brenda Wood on 11 Alive. Who knows what will happen in the coming weeks?

  2. I'm glad seeing Brian Williams on the NBC air again. I've always liked his style, he handles special reports like no other.

  3. Lester is out sick today so Brian will be anchoring NBC News Special a Report this afternoon. But don't expect Brian to fill in on Nightly as he banned from appearing on broadcast

  5. Sheena's been filling in in the morning and at 11am this week, with Glenn handling all the night newscasts. In the past it's been opposite.

  6. Maybe not in the close, but that ID at the very beginning sounds like what WLS uses in the morning...

  7. So sad seeing Pam leave WTVJ, she was the best on morning TV in Miami. But I do wish her well nonetheless.
