    Very interesting. It's a shame that the article doesn't go into specifics whether it will handle all weather forecasts for all stations or smaller ones.

    WUVP's weather comes out of Miami already, so I wouldn't be surprised if this affects all stations.

    You misspelled "Sinclair"--

    Joking aside, when the article says "all of the company’s stations, network, radio and digital properties in the U.S." I believe them. And only seven staffers. Oof.

    Though when NBC bought the Weather Channel, there was a huge fear they too would centralize weather output and it never materialized. So who knows?

    Entravision does regional news/weather for a majority of their stations (larger market station will produce a regional newscast encompassing several markets--the smaller market stations retain a few employees to cover their respective markets).

    Don't be surprised if Univision follows this model.
