KMIZ new graphics

    KMIZ in the Columbia/Jefferson City market has new graphics. Pretty nice for the most part...but some of the proportions seem weird.

    Not a fan of all the empty space on the locations on double box graphic. The STUDIO / COLUMBIA font could stand to be bigger IMO.

    It reminds me of that purple/yellow package some of the Nexstar stations have been using lately. It's not too bad.

    Pretty decent. The only major thing that urks me is the BIG space between the anchor's names in the beginning L3.

    Don't know when this happened, but KMIZ (Columbia-Jefferson City, MO's ABC affiliate owned by NPG) has brand-new graphics. They're still using Stephen Arnold's "Extreme" and Charlie Van Dyke's voiceover.

    Actually, this was already posted

    It's not too bad, but why is the logo in the intro not 3D? It just cheapens things

    Looks good. Decent in my books. Intro reminds me of Tribune CBS.

    Sorry for bumping the thread...

    So as of this posting, The News-Press NOW stations (KNPN/KNPG), KIFI and now KRDO have the new "Tribune CBS-like" graphics KMIZ is using (KRDO's weather graphics probably haven't switched yet). KVIA and KTVZ are using blue, white and red graphics since last year. The others haven't switched yet.

    Here is KRDO's open with the new graphics yesterday (the weather graphics haven't switched yet). They made its debut just a few days ago. They're still using Stephen Arnold's Counterpoint and Al Vanik's voiceover.
