Let's bring back ABC Sports while we're at it. If ABC Sports still exists on radio, no reason why it can't on TV.

    ESPN on ABC is just...bleh.

ABC Sports would just be ESPN wearing a mask anyway. You know that ESPN wouldn't put in any effort to make ABC Sports feel like a separate operation. They would just bring back the name, possibly even that late '90s logo, and "boom, done."

Hopefully, Disney would buyout Hearst's shares at ESPN, Inc. If that happens in the future, then Disney would retire the ESPN brand and revive the ABC Sports brand. Sorry I had to state that, but don't worry: I shall save that for the Speculatron 9000.

    And hell...
Why not bring back ABC's Wide World of Sports so they can re-ruin that franchise also.

"ABC Radio Sports" never really went away in the first place. It's always been a series of sportscasts fed, IIRC, three times every day. Two minute-long sportscasts with a one-minute ad avail.

There should still be two forms of this sportscast; one has a sports-related variant of the ABC News sounder, and the other one is completely dry.

Usually they are cleared by small-market stations, which is why few know it still exists.
