The 2011-2015 March Madness graphics were mainly based off the NBA on TNT graphics at the time.
I should have added that I was talking about the 2010 NBA graphics package being dumped after 2 seasons of use. I forgot to say that.
Something seems to be wrong with the Inside March Madness opener. The opener itself has the correct music, but the built-in vamp that plays after the opener is the regular CBS music instead. Doesn't looks like it's going to be fixed this year.
I wonder if it's something with TruTV? I watched a few games on TruTV over the weekend and some were using the regular CBS music going into and out of breaks. I think IMM moves over to TBS this weekend, so maybe they'll fix it then.
I think they probably sent out the wrong music cue to the trucks, or maybe the game producer came from CBS and decided to use the CBS-NCAA regular season music and not the proper one for whatever reason (preference, other reasoning).
Could even be a management reasoning, they may want to phase out the Tervor Rabin-produced theme for the CBS track. Try it out here and there and next year, different music.
The court at the Alamodome actually looks pretty cool; seems to have a Tex-Mex flavor to it.
Pretty nice. Way more vivid than last year's.
And as expected, TSN is using ESPN's world feed (with Dick Vitale on color), and it's using the new ESPN college basketball graphics that debuted this season (which, even with their oddness at times, are still a lot less obtrusive as the official CBS/Turner scoreboard).
I'm still sure ESPN would have dressed them up like the CFP "special" graphics if they really did have the NCAA tournament...
Jay Feely is doing color on the Michigan Teamcast on TNT.
He is a former NFL kicker who has never played basketball in his life.
Another TBS Final Four, another year of morons complaining about the Teamcasts.
People just don't get it.
Do we see people complain about so called "team bias" when ESPN has every single ESPN-owned sports channel do the College Football Playoff National Championship Game megacasts?
Turner's running basically an ESPN Voices-like setup on Twitter, with a viewing party overlooking the game. It's even got the actual scoreboard going on, though it doesn't have the unnecessary shade right below it (which, somehow, actually looks better)
Michigan has ended the long Cinderella run of Loyola-Chicago.
I WON MY 46-PERSON BRACKET! I'M BUYING DRINKS!
First the Eagles win the Super Bowl and now Nova it's 2nd title in 3 years. Been a nice last few months for this guy. Gonna need the Sixers and Flyers to keep the train rolling and make Philly the new Title Town
Yeah, let's not.. 'specially the Flyers
