  • Frequently Asked Questions:

Who runs The News Center? Who can I talk to about administration/moderation on Discord?

While The News Center is our partner, it is not directly operated by Local News Talk. Think of it kind of like a shared services agreement in television. While both communities operate with different administration, there are some staff members who volunteer their time between both The News Center and Local News Talk. A full listing of Local News Talk and The News Center staff is available here

Please note: Moderation of The News Center is handled separately from Local News Talk. If you wish to appeal a moderation decision made on The News Center, please contact the appropriate members of The News Center staff. Local News Talk administration will not override moderation decisions made by The News Center.
