Didn't expect this, especially considering Fox is currently majority-owner of YES; you'd think they wouldn't let this happen. Perhaps they didn't like what happened to WWOR's news?

Nope.

On Saturday, the Daily News reported that YES and WWOR (Ch. 9), the current “free” TV home of the Yankees, were having problems reaching a deal. Both YES and Ch. 9 are owned by Fox. Sources said Ch. 9 was losing money on the Yankees deal and was not willing to meet YES’ asking price.

As usual, it's about the money.

Tribune's stations have gained so much more worth now that Tribune has added TV rights to the Colts, CBS Sports in Indianapolis, Yankees and Mets......and the CW is doing better than it ever has before ratings-wise even after they've syndicated a huge chunk of their content to Netflix and have a full fledged online network (CW Seed).

So far the scoreboard graphic looks like what yes has with just pix 11 stamped in.

This was the same when YES produced broadcasts for My 9.

And PIX 11 is airing its first Mets broadcast of the year, which is produced by SNY. Same thing... The PIX 11 logo appears where the SNY logo usually is. (Also, SNY now produces pre-game broadcasts for PIX 11... In the past, PIX 11 would sometimes produce its own terrible pre-games and sometimes not.)
