Has anyone seen any opens, graphics of the new CBS 4? I guess WISH is now a CW affiliate? Isn't that also owned by CBS?

I did see a few shots of the studio and graphics on Facebook.

Apparently WTTV is using 615's Moving Forward (ironically commissioned by another CBS 4, WFOR). Haven't seen any opens yet.

Here is the morning opening.

That is a very nice open. The music fits well and I love the fact that they decided to forgo the voiceover. Seems like Tribune is going with 615 as their music provider. I wouldn't be surprised to hear a 615 pack for the FOX stations.

I have to ask though...has anything changed at WISH?

Probably not; from what I can tell, they never were big on co-branding with CBS, and they likely aren't going to do the same with The CW outside network programs.

Marshall Hites (who was the CSD of KCAL, and later KTLA) is the CSD of the whole Trib group. He's basically the reason for bringing these new 615 themes to KCAL (Decade '90, Fahren-Hite/The Hammer/Newsforce (and maybe Newstime for KCBS)).

Ahh makes sense now. I could have sworn I heard a new theme on one of KSWB's promos a few weeks back. Sounded very 615-ish and had a FOX vibe to it. I'll see if I can record it sometime. Either way, Moving Forward really works for WTTV. I wasn't a big fan of it when it came out but for some reason it's tolerable with the way they are using it.

No changes at WISH (minus that L-shaped/ESPN Style Bar). It's been business as usual. There is a advertising blitz for both stations. Billboards, radio ads, everything. And despite all the coverage of the changes on TV and in The Indianapolis Star, you still get the people that have been under a rock asking "where is my Price is Right?" or the people writing on WISH's Facebook page "Screw you WISH for getting rid of your CBS affiliation" forcing them to copy and paste the "CBS chose to leave us....yadda yadda yadda" response.

Overall a warm welcome for CBS4 from the viewers. Minus some echoing in the studio, every broadcast has aired seamlessly like they've been doing it for years.
