WDJT (CBS 58 Milwaukee) went HD tonight at 10 after months of speculation. New graphics feature a mix of blues and oranges and aside from the newscasts being unusually quiet, I have to say I am very impressed. Heck, even taped reports are in HD (WISN can't say that). Not sure about live reports since there were none tonight. Hopefully someone will have screencaps up soon.

The new L3s definitely remind me of something, I just can't pinpoint what...

The new graphics are pretty sharp, definitely the best they've looked in years.

As for everything else, the audio was ridiculously quiet to the point you could barely hear Mike Strehlow at times. There were a few instances of the classic "package cuts off the anchor" and for some reason, Mark McGinnis' suit had blotches that were keying out (mostly in dark areas). The sports ticker had random stuff appearing behind it as well.

The only live shot on the morning show so far is not in HD. It's in letterboxed 16:9.

They've also run into their first package that didn't roll/wasn't ready.

They got the live shot issues worked out. They appear to be 16x9 SD.

Honestly, the more I see the new graphics, the more I like them. Just to think that they went from this to the new look in about a year, it's pretty impressive.
