Sports Video Group has posted an excellent article about the new NBC Sports Network that replaced Versus on Monday afternoon. Plans for the 2012 Olympics are mentioned, including that the graphics package on NBC Sports Network will make up 80% of the graphics used during the Olympics, throwing out NBC's tradition of creating a unique look for every Olympics.

Maybe NBC will still make unique graphics for the Olympics; they'll infuse the Sports Network's graphics into a mix with the Olympics graphics.

After seeing the new look in full force during the Super Bowl, while I still think the old design looked cooler in places, this new look actually looks pretty slick.

I heard people saying Artworks did it, right?
